Drug Free World Booklet Distribution




On Sunday, 12th January 2025, Captain Ali Javed joined the Drug Free World team in distributing their excellent set of booklets, which he frequently uses in his community to raise awareness about the fight against drug use. He actively engaged with the public, sharing his knowledge and answering questions. During his conversations, Captain Javed highlighted the harsh realities of drug use, the progression towards addiction, and the government's role in its decriminalisation. He also discussed practical steps that individuals can take to help combat the issue and create a drug-free community.

Talk to Youth at Mosque




Every Friday, Captain Ali Javed has the pleasure of leading a weekly youth programme, where he covers a variety of topics aimed at educating young people. A common focus is drug awareness.

Captain Javed consistently stresses the importance of resisting the temptation to try drugs, especially in the face of peer pressure, and encourages the youth to help their friends avoid drugs as well. He frequently discusses the severe consequences of drug use.

Drug Free Africa Talk




On Saturday, 28th September 2024, Capt Ali Javed had the pleasure of participating in the Drug-Free World Africa (DFWA) programme in Stratford, London.
The event was an inspiring showcase of the incredible work being carried out by the DFWA team, both in the UK and across Africa.

Capt Javed expressed admiration for the DFWA team, highlighting their passion, positivity, and readiness to volunteer wherever needed. Their ability to balance hard work with a shared sense of joy—evidenced by their enthusiasm for a good dance—was particularly noteworthy.

War on Psychiatry




On Saturday, 23rd September 2024, Capt Ali Javed had the honour of cutting the ribbon at a powerful exhibition in Chelsea, which highlighted the devastating impact of psychiatry and the industry it has become. The event shed light on the countless lives lost or harmed by psychiatric drugs and misdiagnosis.
Capt Javed stressed the importance of raising awareness, particularly for those who have been affected personally or know someone who has. Psychiatry remains one of the leading causes of suicide globally, emphasising the urgent need for change.
